 Editorial Review

What a heartfelt, interesting, and informational story of personal caring for a parent with Vascular Dementia. Sharon McInnes shares her experiences and care through all the stages of her mother’s dementia. She explains much of her research and where she went to find it. The honest feelings when dealing with and caring for each stage of this illness really offer good guidance on healthcare, the places available for that care, and how to provide care and safety to a family member living with you.

I wish this book had been around when I was caring for my stepfather and then again for my mother. Sharon handled and addressed so many issues with her mother, her personal life, and her family life. It’s an excellent book for understanding how to help and care for someone with dementia.
